Nicole Crocker

Senior Vice President, Strategy and Business Development

Ms. Crocker serves as Vice President, Business Development, providing acquisition and finance guidance for Meritas Schools. Prior to joining Meritas, she worked in the private equity industry, first in the Private Finance Investment Group at Allied Capital Corporation (NYSE: ALD) and then as an independent consultant. Her roles included negotiating, executing and monitoring investment transactions in middle market companies. Prior to working in private equity, Ms. Crocker worked for Ernst & Young LLP’s Entrepreneurial Services Group where she managed financial due diligence and assurance engagements.

Ms. Crocker graduated cum laude from The American University with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and received an MBA with a concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurship from The Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
