Mr. Spruce is involved with the strategic development and expansion of the Meritas network of schools. Prior to this role, he was the Vice President of The North Broward Preparatory Schools. He started with NBPS in 1995 where he was responsible for legal and operational duties. In 1998 his role expanded to include construction and development of physical plant facilities at the school.
 
Beginning in 1991, Mr. Spruce worked as an attorney for AequiCap; a vertically integrated financial services and transportation group consisting of over 700 employees, generating annual revenues of over $150M. AequiCap, together with its affiliates, is a dominant provider in its insurance and transportation niche markets. He has served on AequiCap’s Board of Directors since 1998.
 
Mr. Spruce received his BA from Curry College in Milton, MA in 1988 and his JD from The Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, MI in 1991.
